Type 1 - Live Broadcast
The studio’s live broadcast capability allows us to broadcast content to large audiences in the thousands without a delay. From a content perspective, a live broadcast consists of, but is not limited to, presentations, interviews between a host and guests, live or prerecorded product demos, PowerPoint slides, Q&A with the audience, and skits and other performances.
The presenters in a live broadcast can be in person in our studio or join virtually anywhere around the globe. The studio can accommodate six in-person presenters if you want them to be on stage at the same time and a maximum of 10 remote guests. The maximum number of camera angles for a live broadcast is three.
Running a live broadcast requires two Experian teams, Creative Services and EITS (Brenda Hatcher and Adrian). The teams will work closely with your team’s lead and will start with a kickoff meeting to go over the stage setup, agenda, and graphic or transition videos requirements. One day prior to the live broadcast, we’ll do a tech rehearsal to run through the entire show based on the agenda. We require your team lead to be present and give any last-minute feedback. An hour or two before the live broadcast, all in-person and virtual presenters will do a rehearsal, where we’ll give stage direction and talk about precautions on timing.
Type 2 – Green Screen
The studio supports green screen production. For this type of production, we film the subjects in front of a green screen and key out the background. Then we drop in the scene of your choice, either during the production with the switcher or in post-production. The scene can be a still or a video.
If the scene is realistic, to make it look real, it’s important to consider the relationship between the background image/video and the shot size, as well as the lighting angle. The Creative Services team will work closely with you to find the best scene for the production.
Type 3 - Interview
Interview-based branding video: The goal is to tell the brand’s value proposition from an individual’s point of view. By interviewing and hearing personal stories from one or many employees and giving them a space to express their emotions, interview-style branding videos create an emotional connection with the audience. This type of video is often cinematic. The production team creates an authentic environment with behind-the-scenes visual and cinematic lighting, a cozy place for storytelling.
Talk-show style interview video: This type of video is similar to talk shows you watch on TV. It can be live or prerecorded. Typically, a host interviews one or multiple guests on a given topic, or a few people engage in a discussion. A stage setup is needed which may involve multiple chairs, stools and tables. Multiple cameras are used during the production, and the team might live-edits the video while recording.
Type 4 - vocal Recording / podcast
The studio supports vocal recordings. There’s a dedicated vocal booth located in the studio green room, and it allows only one person to record at any given time.
Please bring your script or the talk track to the studio. The production team will provide direction on the delivery. If needed, the team will run some treatments on the recorded track to make it sound better.
